As a new service, we will update team and club photos under each team or club! The service is limited to photos where the rider (s) uniform is easily recognisable for the tagging process.
Check the galleries under
Galleries>Club or Team photos.
]]>Where possible, we have grouped the photos into galleries covering the individual event.
We would like to thank all the customers who purchased photos from our photo booth. This was the first time that Veloshotz used this technology and it was very well received by all. It was good to see family and friends of the competitors gather around the monitors searching for photos.
All photos from the Battle will be uploaded by Sunday evening.

Phootos now uploaded!
During 2014 Byron Bay Tri at Byron Bay, Byron Bay, NSW, Australia on 10/05/2014. Image rights: Niels Juel, Veloshotz,
Keywords: Veloshotz, QSM, "Byron Bay", BBT, "Byron Bay Tri"
All competitors will receive an email with a link to their photos. Photos without a readable BIB can be found in 'Lost and Found'
A broad search for 'Byron' will return more than 6000 photos (!) - so try to combine 'Byron' with your 'name' e.g. 'John' and you get a more manageable result..

The photo booth was setup with a server and 4 photo kiosks where customers could look up and purchase photos from the event. Print options cover the size from small to large e.g. 4 x 6" photos to larger sized photos in 8 x 4", 8 x 5", 8 x 8", 8 x 10" and 8 x 12".
The print quality is the same high quality prints that Veloshotz offers though our webstore - the only difference being that photos can be purchased at the event and brought home same day.
The printing time for a 4 x 6" photo is less than 8 seconds so there is virtually no waiting time.
Photo adjustments e.g. cropping and minor exposure adjustments can be made prior to printing the photo - and to the customer wishes.
Customers can also purchase the photos as digital downloads that can be either emailed to from the booth or saved to a memory stick - which can be purchased from the booth.
The onsite prints will be offered to the larger events and can be prebooked by contacting Veloshotz.
]]>Bicycling Queensland;
Our first assignment with BQ will be the Agnes Water to Coolum Beach (6 - 14 September 2014).
Read more about the ride here: http://cycleqld.bq.org.au/
We look forward to work with the team at BQ and to provide long lasting cycling for the riders participating in the 2014 Queensland Ride - Agnes Water to Coolum Beach..
]]>Veloshotz attended the event with 3 photogs covering running, cycling and the finish line. A total of just over 4000 photos has been uploaded - meaning nearly 3 or more per competitor.
Another great event hosted by QSM.
Photos from the 2013 Uni Cycling Club Championships can be downloaded free of charge. Printed photos at standard cost. Enjoy!
]]>All photos on veloshotz.com are tagged with the event name, date and location but we are now also able to tag photos with the rider name, club and team.
Provided we can see the rider number, we will tag the rider or runner - if we can see the kit only, we will tag the kit and you will be able to search for the club or team - e.g. type 'budget' and you will get all the photos where we have tagged a Budget rider.
The search function is faster if you are in the gallery where you want to find a photo - say you want to find yourself in the Mt. Cotton race gallery - go to the gallery, type your name in the search function in the upper right hand corner and you will find yourself. If you do not find any photos of yourself, type the club or team where you belong - e.g. Budget and you will then find a selection of photos with Budget riders.
Please note that the rider, team, club search function will be adopted from August 2013 onwards and that photos before this date does not have these tags applied.
Please also note that searching from the frontpage of Veloshotz.com takes longer time than if you narrow the search to a single gallery. We are currently hosting more than 10.000 photos - a number that will grow rapidly until we have added the all old galleries to the new Veloshotz.com
]]>No problem! Tell us what you want and we will put something together, price it to your liking and deliver straight to your mailbox..
]]>We have completely re-written the website and changed the photomerchant provider.
We are now able to serve you better, faster and to give you more options to choose from.
We will continou to improve the site over the next few weeks and to upload past galleries - so if you are looking for some older photos, don't stress if you cannot find them - they will be uploaded soon.
Thanks for visiting..
]]>This was my 3rd or 4th year that I have been covering CC. Unlike the previous years, where I have been at the KOM, I decided to position myself further down the climb - approximately 3 km from the top. The backdrop was really nice with an almost vertical cliff wall with some great patterns and colours. Mette (mrs. Veloshotz) attended me on this event and was covering the race primarily with a very wide angled lens mounted on the D700. Mette got some great photos in the box and has been praised widely by so many people that it is not funny! One of her photos attracted more than 40 likes on Facebook - pretty good! It is a bit unfair to myself as I have been out there taking 1000's of photos and rarely been praised in the same manner. Must be beginners luck!
I have attached one of her photos to this blog.
Please visit the galleries to see the photos from the race.
Thanks for visiting.
Cheers
Niels
